Job Title: Early Years Teaching Assistant
Location: Tower Hamlets
Salary: £90 – £105 per day
Start Date: ASAP
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30 AM – 4:00 PM

Key Responsibilities of Early Years TA:

Morning Support: Work 1:1 with children who have SEMH needs, including ADHD and emotional regulation challenges.

Afternoon Flexibility: Support pupils across Key Stages 1 and 2, adapting to their individual needs.

Inclusive Learning: Foster a nurturing and supportive environment for all students to thrive.

Collaborative Support: Work alongside teachers and the SENCO to deliver personalised learning plans.

Relationship Building: Build positive, trusting relationships to support the holistic development of each child.
✅ Requirements of Early Years TA:

Experience: Previous Early Years/Nursery or SEN Teaching Assistant experience preferred.

Resilience & Initiative: Ability to stay calm under pressure and adapt to varying needs.

Care & Support: Willingness to support with nappy changing and personal care needs.

Safeguarding Knowledge: Solid understanding of safeguarding and child protection is essential.

Strong Communication: Able to work as part of a team and communicate effectively with staff and children alike.
