Requirements The successful candidate will have: Previous experience working with children or young people within an educational, care or support setting. Experience supporting students with SEN, SEMH, Autism, ADHD or behavioural needs (desirable). A genuine passion for helping young people succeed. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

The Role: Provide 1:1 and small-group support to help pupils engage with learning and develop essential life skills. Support children with complex needs and challenging behaviours, using a calm, patient and positive approach. Help create a safe, structured and nurturing learning environment where every child feels valued. Encourage pupils to develop their social skills, confidence, independence and emotional regulation through engaging activities.

The successful candidate will: Have experience supporting children or young people with autism, ASD or additional needs in a school, care or support setting. Be confident providing 1:1 support and helping pupils access classroom activities within a specialist SEN school. Support pupils with communication, social interaction, emotional regulation and independence. Understand the importance of structure, routine and visual communication strategies when supporting children with autism.
