GSL Education are currently recruiting for a SEN Teaching Assistant to join a specialist academy in Scarborough. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to develop their experience within a dedicated SEN setting and work as part of a supportive and experienced team.

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work alongside teaching staff to support pupils with their learning and day-to-day needs. You will provide one-to-one and small-group support, help pupils stay engaged in lessons and contribute to a positive, well-structured classroom environment.

As a Cover Supervisor, you will supervise lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, ensuring pupils understand and complete work set by their regular teachers. You will maintain clear expectations, manage behaviour effectively and provide support to pupils throughout each lesson. You will have the opportunity to work across different subjects and year groups, making this a varied role for someone who enjoys working in a secondary school environment.

As SEMH Support Staff, you will provide day-to-day support to pupils who may need additional help with their emotional wellbeing, behaviour and engagement in school. You will work alongside class teachers to help children manage emotions, follow routines and take part confidently in classroom activities.

As a Level 3 Teaching Assistant, you will work alongside the class teacher to support pupils across their daily learning. You will provide targeted support to individuals and small groups, help children stay engaged with activities and assist with classroom routines.

As a Behaviour Support (Primary), you will work closely with class teachers to support pupils who may need additional help with behaviour, emotional regulation and engagement. You will provide one-to-one and small-group support, helping children manage their emotions, follow routines and remain focused on learning.
