Cover Teacher
Salary: £120 to £140 per day
Start Date: January 2022 or sooner
Location: Bridlington

GSL Education Hull and Yorkshire requires a Cover Teacher to support a secondary school in Bridlington, East Riding of Yorkshire. This is a great opportunity for any teachers seeking a more flexible work-life balance, or a newly qualified teacher looking to gain more experience.
 
As a Cover Teacher, you should be flexible in your approach to work, as you may cover subject areas outside of your specialist subject area. Ideally you will be available for full-time work, however we are happy to accept candidates on a part-time basis.
 
Candidate Requirements:
  • Be a qualified teacher with UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Have worked in a classroom within the last 2 years and be able to provide references (placements will be accepted for NQTs or ECTs).
  • Be able to quickly engage and build rapport with pupils.
  • Be a confident behaviour manager.
  • Have an Enhanced Child Workforce DBS certificate registered to the update service or be happy to apply for one through GSL Education. DBS sponsorship is available for this position.
