Primary Teacher
Location: Scunthorpe
Salary: £130 - £180 per day (Depending on Experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are seeking a dedicated Primary Teacher to work within welcoming and supportive primary schools in Scunthorpe.
As a Primary Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality education across EYFS, KS1 or KS2, depending on your strengths and preferences. You will create a dynamic and inclusive classroom where all pupils feel valued and encouraged to achieve their best.
Responsibilities of a Primary School Teacher:
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons in accordance with the national curriculum
- Support pupils’ academic, emotional, and social development
- Foster a positive classroom environment with effective behaviour management
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and senior leaders
- Monitor and assess pupil progress, adapting teaching as needed
- Encourage creativity, curiosity, and independent thinking in learners
- Participate in school events, CPD, and continuous school improvement efforts
Primary Teacher Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Recent teaching experience within a UK primary school setting
- Strong understanding of the primary curriculum
- Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
- Ability to adapt lessons to meet the needs of all learners
- Have an updated CV and an Enhanced DBS registered to the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
