Full-Time Primary Mainstream Teacher – EYFS Class – Primary School in Bournemouth, Dorset
GSL Education are delighted to present a fantastic opportunity for a passionate and dedicated Primary Mainstream Teacher to join a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Bournemouth. This full-time role is within an Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) class and is set to begin in September 2025, offering a competitive salary between £30,000 and £44,000 per annum, depending on experience.
The school is open to applications from both Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and experienced educators who are committed to nurturing young learners in a supportive and engaging environment.
Key Responsibilities of Primary Mainstream Teacher:
- Deliver engaging, play-based lessons tailored to EYFS pupils.
- Plan and implement creative and differentiated learning activities in line with the EYFS framework.
- Monitor and assess pupil progress, offering constructive feedback and support.
- Create a nurturing, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support each child’s development.
- Participate in school events, staff meetings, and professional development sessions.
- Stay informed about best practices and updates in early years education.
Requirements for Primary Mainstream Teacher:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- A strong passion for teaching and inspiring young learners.
- Experience teaching in EYFS (desirable but not essential).
- Effective classroom management and lesson planning skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational abilities.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
- An up-to-date CV (covering the last ten years with no unexplained gaps).
- Enhanced DBS certificate registered on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).
