Secondary Teacher – Sheffield
Location: Sheffield, South Yorkshire
Salary: £140 – £190 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: Easter Term 2025
Contract Type: Day-to-Day / Long-Term | Full-Time / Part-Time

About the Role:
As a Secondary Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons within your subject specialism. You’ll be expected to adapt your teaching to meet the needs of all learners, foster a positive classroom atmosphere, and collaborate with colleagues to help raise student attainment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver well-planned and inspiring lessons in line with the national curriculum

  • Differentiate instruction to accommodate all learning styles and abilities

  • Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing constructive feedback

  • Uphold high standards of classroom behaviour and engagement

  • Contribute to the wider school community and support pupil wellbeing

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification

  • Experience teaching in secondary schools (GCSE experience is desirable)

  • A subject specialism in English, Maths, Science, Humanities, or another secondary subject

  • Strong classroom management and communication skills

  • Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

  • A full 10-year career history with references covering the past two years, including your most recent role
