SEN Teaching Assistant – Southwark

Location: Southwark
Salary: £90 to £110 per day
Contract: Full-time, Long-term
Start Date: Immediate

GSL Education are seeking a SEN Teaching Assistant for a vibrant school in Southwark. This is a rewarding opportunity to work with children with a range of needs including autism, SEMH, and speech and language challenges.

Main Duties:

  • Support pupils on a 1:1 and group basis.

  • Help maintain a positive and productive classroom.

  • Work alongside SENCOs and therapists to implement strategies.

  • Track and report on student progress.

Candidate Profile:

  • SEN experience is preferred.

  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

  • Clear understanding of safeguarding and child protection.
