Job Title: Nursery Teaching Assistant (EYFS)
Location: Littleover, Derby
Salary: £95 – £110 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day / Long-term, Part-time / Full-time

GSL Education are seeking a nurturing and enthusiastic Nursery Teaching Assistant (EYFS) to join a welcoming Early Years setting in Littleover. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a genuine love for working with young children to contribute to their early development in a supportive and creative learning environment.
As a Nursery Teaching Assistant (TA), you will work closely with class teachers and Early Years Practitioners to promote learning through play, support routines and build strong, positive relationships with children and families.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the delivery of the Early Years curriculum through engaging and age-appropriate activities.
- Foster a positive, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment.
- Assist with classroom organisation, observations, and pupil assessments.
- Provide personal care when needed in line with safeguarding and welfare requirements.
- Build positive relationships with children, staff, and parents.
Requirements for Nursery Teaching Assistant (EYFS):
- A relevant Level 2/3 childcare qualification is highly desirable.
- Previous experience working in an Early Years or nursery setting.
- A calm, patient, and enthusiastic approach.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- A CV covering the last 10 years (with any gaps explained) and an enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one).
