Fixed term contract – January 2021 – July 2021

GSL Education is working with a large Primary School in Salford. Judged GOOD by Ofsted they are proud of their school, the exemplary behaviour of the children and their commitment to ensuring the school is a supportive and enjoyable place to work.

They are now looking for an experienced YR2 teacher to become an essential part of the team and take on some extra responsibilities whilst the Assistant Head is away covering other duties.

• Is an enthusiastic, innovative Teacher

• Is passionate about developing children as independent learners and thinkers

• Has a proven track record in KS1 SATs

• Is an excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills and is able to work effectively as part of a team

• Is keen to enrich an area of the creative, enquiry-based curriculum

• Is organised, professional and proficient with appropriate ICT skills.

· QTS or other UK recognised teaching qualification

· Experience in a YR2 Teaching position and KS1 SATs

· An enhanced DBS registered with the update service or be prepared to apply for a new one

· Be eligible to work in the UK

GSL Education is currently working with a 'GOOD' Primary School in North Manchester who would like to meet with YR3 Teachers looking for a great employment opportunity for January. The role will require you to plan, prepare and deliver lessons based on the main Primary curriculum, as well as becoming involved in the extracurricular activities of the school. You will be expected to assess and provide feedback to all students. You will also benefit from the presence of an experienced Teaching Assistant within the class. The SLT of the school are dedicated to providing the support and motivation you need to be the best Teacher you can possibly be with regular and continued professional development sessions.

· Hold QTS or other relevant teaching qualification eligible in the UK

· Hold a full and valid DBS registered with the update service, or be prepared to apply for a new one
