SEN HLTA (Higher Level Teaching Assistant) Wanted!

Start Date: September 2025
Contract: Full-Time | Term-Time Only |
Salary: £95 - £130 per day

About the Role:
As our SEN HLTA, you will play a key role in supporting pupils with a range of additional needs, including Autism, ADHD, SEMH, and learning difficulties. You will work closely with class teachers, the Assistant head, SENCOs, and support staff to deliver tailored interventions, lead small groups, and provide one-to-one support. You’ll also have the opportunity to plan and deliver activities, contribute to EHCP reviews, and take on a leadership role within the classroom.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver targeted interventions and support learning across KS3/KS4
- Lead small group sessions and provide one-to-one support
- Work collaboratively with teachers and SENCO to plan, assess, and adapt learning
- Monitor progress and maintain detailed records
- Support pupils' emotional well-being, behaviour, and personal development
- Foster an inclusive and positive classroom environment
We’re Looking For:
- A qualified HLTA (or experienced TA ready to take the next step)
- Experience working with children with SEN (Autism, ADHD, SEMH, etc.)
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A caring, patient, and proactive attitude
- The ability to adapt and use initiative in a dynamic school setting
