GSL Education is currently recruiting a dedicated and enthusiastic Key Stage 1 Teacher to join a welcoming and well-regarded primary school from September 2025. This is a full-time, long-term opportunity ideal for a passionate teacher looking to make a positive impact in the early years of a child’s education.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver creative and engaging lessons aligned with the KS1 curriculum

  • Create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment that promotes curiosity and progress

  • Assess, monitor, and report on pupil attainment and development

  • Work closely with teaching assistants, colleagues, and parents to support pupil learning and wellbeing

  • Maintain high expectations for behaviour and learning across the classroom

  • Contribute to the wider school community through collaborative planning and school initiatives

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – ECTs may be considered depending on the school

  • Proven experience teaching in a KS1 setting

  • Strong classroom management skills and a child-centred approach

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • A genuine passion for teaching and supporting young learners
