Maths Teacher
Location: Sheffield – S5
Salary: £155 - £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: September 2025
Contract Type: Day-to-Day / Long-Term; Full-Time / Part-Time

GSL Education are seeking enthusiastic and committed Maths Teachers to join schools across Sheffield.
Mathematics Teacher Responsibilities:
- Deliver well-structured and engaging Maths lessons in line with the national curriculum.
- Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of a diverse range of learners.
- Support students in understanding complex mathematical concepts through clear, innovative teaching.
- Prepare and assess student work, offering constructive feedback to aid progress.
- Contribute to a collaborative and supportive department culture.
- Maintain excellent classroom behaviour and a positive learning environment.
Requirements for Maths Teacher:
- UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- A degree in Mathematics or a closely related subject.
- Experience teaching Maths at different Key Stages.
- Strong subject knowledge and effective classroom management skills.
- A commitment to student progress, development, and safeguarding.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Have an up-to-date CV (covering the last ten years, barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one)
