Job Title: Teacher of Maths
Location: Fareham, Hampshire
Salary: £30,000 - £46,535 per annum (Depending on experience).
Start time: Immediate or September 2025
Contract Type: Full-Time, Permanent

About the Role:
This full-time position offers the chance to deliver the Maths curriculum to Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential to teach Key Stage 5 for suitably experienced candidates. You will join a forward-thinking maths department that values creativity in teaching, collaborative planning, and academic excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and well-structured Maths lessons to KS3 and KS4 students
- Foster a positive classroom environment that supports academic excellence and resilience
- Support pupils of varying abilities, ensuring differentiated learning and inclusive practice
- Contribute to departmental planning, assessment, and enrichment activities
- Collaborate with staff to drive high standards in teaching and learning across the Maths department
Job Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), Early Career Teacher (ECT), or international equivalent.
- Strong subject knowledge of GCSE Maths; A-Level experience desirable but not essential.
- Confident classroom presence with excellent behaviour management skills.
- A proactive, reflective, and collaborative approach to teaching and learning.
- Willingness to contribute to a positive team environment and continuous school improvement.
- Experienced Teaching Assistants or Cover Supervisors with a strong Maths background are encouraged to apply, with potential support routes into teaching.
- Have an updated CV (covering the last ten years barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the update service (or be willing to apply for one).
