Are you a recent Science graduate with a passion for education? Do you aspire to make a difference in the lives of students? Join us as a Science Graduate at our schools in Southend on sea and embark on a rewarding journey in teaching.

As a Science Graduate within our schools, you will have the opportunity to inspire and educate the next generation of scientists. Your role will involve supporting the delivery of science lessons, assisting teachers in classroom activities, and providing one-on-one support to students who may require additional assistance.

We are seeking motivated individuals who have recently graduated with a degree in a scientific discipline and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. While experience in a classroom setting is beneficial, it is not essential. We welcome enthusiastic graduates who are eager to learn and grow within a supportive educational environment.

As a Science Graduate, your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting teachers in the planning and delivery of engaging science lessons that align with the curriculum.
  • Supporting students during practical experiments and investigations, ensuring their safety and understanding.
  • Providing individualized support to students who require additional help with scientific concepts.
  • Collaborating with teachers and colleagues to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Participating in professional development opportunities to enhance your teaching skills and knowledge.

The successful candidate will be passionate about science and education, with a desire to inspire curiosity and critical thinking in students. While a background in education is not required, a genuine enthusiasm for working with young people is essential.

If you are a dedicated and enthusiastic Science Graduate ready to kickstart your career in education, we want to hear from you!

Please be advised that this role requires a strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection, and that the successful applicant must satisfy all background safer recruitment checks, including an enhanced DBS on the update service.

To apply, please submit your CV  outlining your interest in the role and how your skills and experiences make you the ideal candidate. Join us in shaping the future of science education in Southend on sea!
