Location: Greater Manchester

Pay Rate: £95.00 – £100.00 per day (term-time only)

Hours: Full-time, Monday – Friday (8:30 AM – 3:30 PM)

Contract Type: Temporary / Contract to Permanent

Are you looking to gain valuable hands-on experience in education? We are recruiting entry-level Teaching Assistants for vibrant primary, secondary, and SEN schools across Greater Manchester. No formal TA qualifications are required - just enthusiasm, patience, and a strong drive to support young people.

Role Responsibilities

  • Provide 1:1 and small-group support to pupils needing extra academic or emotional help.

  • Assist the classroom teacher with activity setup and classroom management.

  • Work alongside SEN specialists to support children with diverse learning needs (autism, ADHD, SEMH).

  • Encourage active participation, build confidence, and help foster an inclusive learning environment.

What We Are Looking For

  • Experience working with children or young adults (e.g., care work, youth work, tutoring, sports coaching, or volunteering).

  • A degree in Psychology, Education, or a related field is desirable, but not essential.

  • Strong communication, adaptability, and emotional resilience.

  • A proactive approach and a genuine passion for working with children.

Requirements

  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).

  • Right to work in the UK.

  • Contactable references covering the last 2 years.
