Job Title: Sports Coach
Location: Worksop
Salary: £460 – £650 per week (depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day / Long Term, Full-time / Part-time

GSL Education are currently recruiting motivated and dynamic Sports Coaches to work in schools across Worksop.

This exciting role involves delivering and supporting sports sessions, encouraging student participation, and promoting a healthy and active lifestyle. The successful candidate will help develop students’ physical skills, teamwork, discipline, and confidence within a school environment.

Sports Coach Responsibilities:

  • Deliver and support PE lessons and sports activities across the school
  • Lead small group and whole-class physical activity sessions
  • Encourage student participation in sports and physical exercise
  • Promote teamwork, discipline, and positive behaviour
  • Support teachers in planning and delivering PE-related activities
  • Supervise students during sporting events, fixtures, and extracurricular clubs
  • Ensure a safe and inclusive environment during all physical activities
  • Build positive relationships with students and staff

Requirements of a Sports Coach:

  • Previous experience in coaching, PE, or working with young people is desirable
  • Strong communication and motivational skills
  • Confident, energetic, and proactive approach
  • Ability to engage and inspire students of all abilities
  • Sports coaching qualifications or relevant experience is beneficial
  • Passion for physical education and youth development
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
