Job Title: RE Teacher
Location: Rotherham (S65, S66)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

Do you enjoy teaching Religious Education and helping students develop understanding and respect for different beliefs and cultures?

GSL Education are searching for a passionate RE Teacher to work in Rotherham, including the S65 and S66 areas, delivering thoughtful and engaging lessons.

As a Religious Education (RE) Teacher, you will deliver well-structured lessons exploring world religions, ethics, and moral themes, helping students build knowledge, critical thinking, and confidence in a supportive and inclusive classroom environment.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality RE lessons in line with the national curriculum.
  • Teach topics covering major world religions, beliefs, and ethical issues.
  • Encourage respectful discussion and critical thinking.
  • Assess student progress and provide clear, constructive feedback.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to support curriculum delivery.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
  • Experience working as an RE Teacher in a school setting.
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and inclusive education.
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
