Job Title: Geography Teacher
Location: Rotherham (S65, S66)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time
Are you an enthusiastic Geography Teacher who can inspire students to explore the physical and human world around them?
Schools in Rotherham (S65, S66) and GSL Education are hiring a dedicated Geography Teacher to deliver engaging and well-structured lessons.
As a Geography Teacher, you will help students develop knowledge of global environments, map skills, and geographical enquiry. You will create a positive classroom environment where students feel confident discussing environmental, social, and physical geography topics.
Key Duties:
- Plan and deliver clear and engaging geography lessons.
- Support students in understanding key geographical concepts.
- Assess and monitor student progress regularly.
- Encourage enquiry-based learning and discussion.
- Maintain high standards of behaviour and participation.
Essential Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching Geography in a school setting.
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
- Good communication and organisational abilities.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply.
