MFL Teacher
Location: Hull
Salary: £32,916 – £51,048 per annum
Contract: Full Time
Start Date: February 2026 or sooner
GSL Education are looking to appoint a motivated Modern Foreign Languages Teacher specialising in Spanish or French for a secondary school in Hull.
About the School
The school values cultural awareness and communication skills through its languages curriculum. The MFL department aims to develop pupils’ confidence in speaking, listening, reading and writing through engaging lessons and interactive learning approaches.
Responsibilities

Teach Spanish or French across KS3 and KS4

Plan and deliver engaging language lessons

Encourage communication and cultural understanding

Monitor pupil progress and prepare pupils for GCSE examinations

Contribute to language enrichment activities
Requirements

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Experience teaching MFL in a UK secondary school

Strong language and curriculum knowledge

Ability to motivate pupils to develop language skills

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply
