PE Teacher

Location: Hull
Salary: £32,916 – £51,048 per annum
Contract: Full Time
Start Date: February 2026 or sooner

GSL Education are seeking an enthusiastic PE Teacher to join a secondary school in Hull.

The PE department promotes active lifestyles and offers a range of sports activities alongside the curriculum to support pupil wellbeing and engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Teach Physical Education across KS3 and KS4

  • Deliver engaging practical and theory lessons

  • Promote teamwork, discipline and healthy lifestyles

  • Organise and support extracurricular sports activities

  • Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

  • Experience teaching PE in a UK secondary school

  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills

  • Ability to motivate pupils through sport and physical activity

  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply
