Location: Hull
Salary: £32,916 – £51,048 per annum
Contract: Full Time
Start Date: February 2026 or sooner
GSL Education are seeking a skilled Design Technology Teacher to work within a secondary school in Hull.

This secondary school values creativity, innovation and practical learning. The Design Technology department encourages pupils to develop technical skills alongside creativity and problem solving through practical workshop based learning and product design projects.
Responsibilities

Teach Design Technology across KS3 and KS4

Deliver practical lessons focusing on product design and manufacturing

Ensure safe use of workshop equipment

Support pupils with coursework and design projects

Prepare pupils for GCSE assessments
Requirements

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Experience teaching Design Technology in a secondary school

Strong practical workshop knowledge

Ability to engage pupils in creative learning

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply
