Maths Teacher
Location: Hull
Salary: £32,916 – £51,048 per annum
Contract: Full Time
Start Date: February 2026 or sooner
GSL Education are recruiting a dedicated Maths Teacher to work within a secondary school in Hull.

The Maths department works collaboratively to deliver structured lessons that support pupils in developing numeracy, reasoning and problem solving skills. Pupils benefit from supportive teaching and targeted intervention where required.
Responsibilities

Teach Maths across KS3 and KS4

Deliver engaging lessons aligned with the national curriculum

Monitor attainment and provide targeted support

Prepare pupils for GCSE examinations

Promote logical thinking and mathematical confidence
Requirements

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Experience teaching Maths in a secondary school setting

Strong subject knowledge and classroom management skills

Ability to inspire and motivate pupils

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply
