Location: Hull
Salary: £32,916 – £51,048 per annum
Contract: Full Time
Start Date: February 2026 or sooner
GSL Education are seeking an enthusiastic English Teacher to join a supportive secondary school in Hull.

Responsibilities

Teach English Language and Literature across KS3 and KS4

Plan and deliver engaging and well structured lessons

Monitor pupil progress and adapt teaching accordingly

Prepare pupils for GCSE examinations

Contribute to the wider life of the school
Requirements

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Experience teaching English in a UK secondary school

Strong subject knowledge and curriculum understanding

Ability to engage and motivate learners

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply
