Job Title: Behaviour Tutor
Location: Newcastle
Pay rate: £95-£115 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are delighted to recruit a resilient Behaviour Tutor for educational settings across Newcastle.

As a Behaviour Tutor, you will work closely with pupils who require additional behavioural and emotional support, delivering targeted interventions and promoting positive attitudes towards learning.

Key Duties:

  • Provide one-to-one and small group behaviour support sessions.
  • Implement personalised behaviour plans and intervention strategies.
  • Support pupils in developing self-regulation and social skills.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and pastoral teams.
  • Maintain accurate records of progress and outcomes.

Requirements of Behaviour Tutor:

  • Previous experience working with young people with behavioural needs.
  • Strong communication and de-escalation skills.
  • Patient, calm, and consistent approach.
  • Understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply for a new one.
