Job Title: Geography Teacher
Location: Worksop (S81)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract type - Day-to-day/ Long-term, Full-time/ Part-time

GSL Education are pleased to recruit a Geography Teacher to support schools in the Worksop (S81) area, encouraging pupils to explore global issues and develop a deeper understanding of the world.
In this role, the Geography Teacher will deliver engaging lessons that develop map skills, environmental awareness, and critical thinking, while creating an inclusive and motivating classroom environment.
Main Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver well-structured lessons in line with the Geography curriculum.
- Encourage pupils to think critically about environmental, social, and global topics.
- Maintain positive behaviour and an effective learning atmosphere.
- Assess pupil progress and provide constructive feedback as Geography Teacher.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to support whole-school objectives.
Requirement:
- Possession of Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching Geography in a secondary school setting.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Commitment to safeguarding and supporting learners of all abilities.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
