A friendly and well-regarded primary school in the Maldon area is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 1 Teacher to join their team on a full-time basis. The Role:

Deliver engaging, creative lessons in line with the Key Stage 1 / Year 1 curriculum.

Plan, prepare, and assess learning to support pupil progress and development.

Create a warm, structured classroom environment that supports positive behaviour and learning.

Support pupils with the transition from EYFS into Key Stage 1.

Work closely with colleagues, parents, and support staff to ensure the best outcomes for pupils.

Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils, including those with additional needs.
The Ideal Candidate:
-
Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
-
Has experience teaching in KS1, ideally Year 1.

Is nurturing, organised, and enthusiastic about early primary education.

Demonstrates strong classroom and behaviour management skills.

Is committed to supporting every child to achieve their potential.
