GSL Education is currently looking for a qualified Music Teacher. The role is at a successful 11-19 mixed secondary school, located in RedBridge.

The school is looking to appoint an inspirational Music Teacher who shares their belief in the highest standards of academic attainment in a comprehensive setting. The successful candidate should be an innovative and dynamic Music Teacher who is able to teach at KS3 to KS4.

The successful candidate must:
- Be a qualified Music teacher (ideally with PGCE, GTP, B'ed, Cert Ed, BA with QTS).
- Demonstrate recent experience as a Music Teacher or trainee Music Teacher.
- Hold good honours degree or equivalent in Music.
- Be proven to raise and maintain attainment levels, keeping standards high.
- Be an enthusiastic, highly motivated individual who leads by example.
- Demonstrate good communication and interpersonal skills with excellent behaviour management strategies.

GSL Education is urgently seeking Cover Supervisors for schools in the London Borough of Redbridge. We run a very busy day to day supply desk- as well as getting long-term positions through, and require strong, reliable and experienced Cover Supervisors immediately.
The role of a Cover Supervisor involves:
-Sole responsibility for supervising classes and issuing work that has been set by the absent class teacher;
-Managing the behaviour of pupils whilst they are undertaking their work, to ensure a constructive environment;
-Responding to any questions from pupils about process and procedures;
-Dealing with any immediate problems according to the school's policies and procedures;
-Collecting any completed work after the lesson and returning it to the appropriate teacher;
-Reporting back as appropriate using the school's agreed referral procedures on the behaviour of pupils during the class, and any issues arising.
Although the role of a Cover Supervisor does not require any specific qualifications, experience working with young people and strong behaviour management is vital!
