Salary Range: £155 to £220 per day (Depending on Experience)

GSL Education are excited to recruit a dedicated and talented Science Teacher to join a friendly school in Chapeltown starting September 2025. This role offers a great chance to inspire students with engaging lessons and make science both exciting and approachable for every learner.
Role Overview:
As a Science Teacher, you will provide engaging and effective lessons across various Key Stages, nurturing students’ enthusiasm for Biology, Chemistry, and/or Physics. You’ll lead practical experiments, encourage scientific research, and connect learning to real-world contexts, supporting students in building solid foundations for exams and future studies.
Your Responsibilities as a Science Teacher:
- Teach engaging, carefully planned science lessons that follow the national curriculum guidelines.
- Differentiate instruction to support the diverse needs of all students, including those with SEND.
- Ensure a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment during practical and classroom activities.
- Monitor student progress, offer meaningful feedback, and apply targeted support when needed.
- Actively contribute to the science department through collaboration and a positive attitude.
- Uphold consistently high standards for student behaviour and academic performance.
Candidate Requirements for Science Teacher:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
- Expertise in one or more scientific fields.
- Experience teaching Science across various Key Stages.
- Deep subject knowledge coupled with a strong enthusiasm for science education.
- Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
- A CV covering the last 10 years, with any gaps clearly explained.
