Teaching Assistant – Newham, Plaistow
Location: Plaistow, Newham
Hours: 8:30 am – 3:30 pm
Contract: Long-term, full-time
Start Date: ASAP
Pay: £90 – £105 per day
Are you a passionate and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant looking to support students in a warm, community-focused school? ✏️ What you’ll be doing:

Providing general classroom support and working one-to-one with students who need extra help.

Assisting teachers in planning and delivering engaging, interactive lessons.

Helping create a positive, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment.

Monitoring student progress and participation, and providing feedback to the teaching team.
✅ What we’re looking for:

Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar educational support role (desirable but not essential).

Strong communication and teamwork skills.

A proactive, adaptable, and supportive approach to helping students.

Understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
