Primary Mainstream Teacher – Year 3 Class – Bournemouth, Dorset

GSL Education are delighted to present an exciting opportunity for a passionate and dedicated Primary Mainstream Teacher to join a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Bournemouth, Dorset. This full-time position is based in a Year 3 class and is set to begin in September 2025, with the potential for a permanent or fixed-term contract following a successful probation period. The school is open to applications from both Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and experienced educators.

Annual salary for this role ranges from £30,000 to £44,000, depending on experience.

Responsibilities of a Primary Mainstream Teacher:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons in line with the Key Stage 2 curriculum.
  • Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
  • Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing tailored support and feedback.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and carers to support each child’s learning journey.
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school, including events and enrichment activities.
  • Stay current with best practices in primary education and curriculum development.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • A strong understanding of the Key Stage 2 curriculum, particularly Year 3.
  • A genuine passion for primary education and child development.
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
  • An up-to-date CV (covering the last ten years with no unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the update service (or willingness to apply for one).
