Salary: £88.94 - £104.84 per day (Depending on experience)

GSL Education are seeking a compassionate and enthusiastic Primary Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant (SEN TA) to join a nurturing school community in Lincoln. Your Role: Inspire and Support Every Day!
As a Primary SEN Teaching Assistant (SEN TA), you will work closely with children aged 4–11, providing 1:1 and small group support. You’ll assist pupils with autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and other learning needs, helping them access the curriculum and develop essential life skills in a safe and inclusive environment.
Key Responsibilities: Your Daily Impact
- Support pupils’ learning, emotional, and social development in the classroom.
- Assist teachers in delivering creative and differentiated lessons tailored to SEN pupils.
- Collaborate with SENCOs and staff to implement inclusive learning strategies.
- Encourage communication, independence, and positive behaviour.
- Monitor progress and provide feedback to teachers and parents.
- Foster a caring and structured environment where every child feels valued.
Who We’re Looking For: Could This Be You?
- Experience working with primary-aged children with SEN, SEMH, autism, ADHD, or learning difficulties.
- A nurturing, patient, and proactive approach to supporting young learners.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- A sound understanding of safeguarding and child protection.
- A relevant qualification in education, childcare, or psychology (desirable but not essential).
- A valid enhanced DBS certificate registered on the update service or willingness to apply for one.
- A valid driving licence.
