GSL Education are looking for a Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming school in Southampton. This is a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting children’s learning and development. As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers to help students in the classroom, provide one-to-one support when needed, and encourage a positive learning environment. You’ll play a key part in helping students stay focused, confident, and motivated in their learning. This role is perfect for someone who is patient, enthusiastic, and ready to make a real difference every day.
Job Expectations:
- Be a helping hand – Support teachers during lessons by preparing resources and assisting with classroom activities.
- Boost confidence – Offer one-to-one or small group support to students who need extra help with learning.
- Encourage progress – Celebrate every achievement, big or small, and motivate students to do their best.
- Keep things running smoothly – Help manage classroom behaviour and keep the learning space safe, calm, and focused.
