GSL Education Hull Branch are currently recruiting a confident and dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to work in an educational setting in Scarborough.

As an Early Career Teacher, you will plan and deliver engaging lessons across EYFS, KS1 or KS2, helping pupils develop academically, socially and emotionally. You will work alongside experienced colleagues to build your classroom practice, assess pupil progress and create lessons that meet the needs of different learners. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your confidence while making a meaningful contribution to pupils' education.

As SEMH Support Staff, you will work closely with teachers and pastoral colleagues to support pupils who may experience social, emotional and mental health needs. Your role will involve providing one-to-one and small-group support, helping children manage their emotions, encouraging positive behaviour and supporting their participation in learning. You will play an important part in helping pupils feel secure, understood and ready to learn.

As a Level 3 Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the class teacher to support pupils across EYFS, KS1 or KS2. You will help deliver engaging learning activities, provide one-to-one and small-group support, and assist children with their academic, social and emotional development. Your experience and qualification will allow you to take an active role in creating a positive and well-structured learning environment.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the class teacher to support pupils across EYFS, KS1 or KS2. Your day may include helping children with classwork, supporting small-group activities, encouraging positive behaviour and providing additional assistance where needed. As a Cover Supervisor, you will supervise classes across a range of subjects, ensuring students remain engaged with their set work and that the classroom remains calm and well organised. You will follow lesson plans, manage behaviour appropriately and provide support where needed, making this a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with young people and wants to gain further experience in education.
