Are you a caring and enthusiastic Nursery Practitioner looking for a rewarding opportunity in a unique early years setting? GSL Education Kent are currently seeking a dedicated Nursery Practitioner to join a welcoming and values-led early years setting in Canterbury.

This is a school-based classroom support role, rather than a sports delivery position. You will work alongside teaching staff to support pupils with learning, behaviour and engagement, while helping maintain a calm and structured classroom environment. Your background in sport can be a real asset, bringing transferable skills such as resilience, teamwork, behaviour management and encouraging positive engagement.

As a Cover Supervisor, you will oversee lessons across a range of subjects, following work and instructions left by teaching staff. You will ensure pupils understand their tasks, remain focused and follow classroom expectations throughout the lesson.

As a SEMH Teaching Assistant, you will provide classroom-based support to students who may experience social, emotional or mental health needs. You will work closely with teachers and pastoral staff to help pupils manage behaviour, build confidence and remain engaged with their education.

As a Teaching Assistant (Secondary), you will support students across Key Stages 3 and 4, helping them engage with lessons and overcome barriers to learning. You will work alongside subject teachers in different departments, provide one-to-one or small-group support where needed, and help students stay focused during lessons and transitions.

As a Cover Supervisor, you will take responsibility for supervising classes when their usual teacher is unavailable. You will deliver the work provided, maintain a positive classroom environment and support students to remain focused and engaged throughout each lesson. This is a varied role where your confidence, organisation and ability to manage behaviour will make a real difference to the school day.
