Job Title: Key Stage 2 Teacher

Location: Christchurch

Salary: £30,000 - £46,525 (MPS/UPS)

Start Date: September 2024

GSL Education are currently partnering with a small, supportive primary school based in Christchurch, in the pursuit of Key Stage 2 Teacher. About the Role:

The school caters to students who have been excluded from mainstream education, who can be emotionally vulnerable. Therefore, any teachers with prior experience with SEN are extremely desirable.


  • Bachelor's Degree/master’s degree
  • Teaching Certification (QTS/QTLS/PGCE)
  • In-depth knowledge of the primary school curriculum and teaching methodologies
  • Previous experience in a primary SEN school is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Patience, adaptability, and a genuine love for education
  • Ability to craft engaging and inclusive lesson plans


  • Develop and deliver creative and engaging lessons tailored to diverse learning styles
  • Cultivate a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and collaboration
  • Implement effective classroom management strategies to create a conducive learning atmosphere
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to students and parents
  • Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support student development and well-being
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational trends and best practices
  • Create a safe and supportive learning environment where students feel encouraged to express themselves and take risks
