English Teacher
Location: North Shields, North Tyneside
Salary: £130 - £170 per day
Contract: Full Time, Temporary
About the Role:
GSL Education are recruiting a dedicated English Teacher to join secondary education in North Shields. This role presents an exciting opportunity to inspire students and foster a love for the English language.
Job Summary:
- Plan and deliver engaging English lessons that cater to the needs of diverse learners.
- Assess student progress and provide feedback to support their development.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation.
Job Responsibilities:
- Design and implement effective teaching strategies to promote literacy skills.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop cross-curricular initiatives.
- Support students in developing their reading, writing, and communication skills.
Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and relevant experience teaching English.
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for literature and language.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their potential.
Note:
Candidates must demonstrate a strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection policies. Background checks, including an enhanced DBS disclosure, are required.
