SEMH Practitioner-Full Time
Location: Boston
Start Date: Immediate Start Required
Salary: £75 - £110 per day

GSL Education is on the lookout for skilled and passionate Behaviour Mentors and SEMH Practitioners to join a dynamic team in Boston, Lincolnshire! If you're experienced in providing support to students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, and you're ready to make a positive impact in the education field, we want to hear from you. The suitable candidate will start working immediately on a full-time basis.

The Role:
We're seeking skilled SEMH practitioner's to work in and around Lincolnshire, providing crucial support to students with SEMH requirements. You'll excel in providing 1:1 and small group assistance to students who are facing challenges in an educational environment. Both short-term and long-term positions are available, catering to primary and secondary provisions.

The Ideal candidate will:
The ideal candidate will be confident, adaptable, and enthusiastic about their potential to create positive change in students with SEMH needs. Your experience with a range of student ages, from 5 to 19, and various SEN requirements, including Autism and BPD, will be your strong suit. Above all, your passion for education and your belief in the transformative power of educators will shine through!
  • Collaborating closely with class teachers and SENCO to offer necessary additional support to pupils
  • Providing intervention support for students facing behavioural and SEN challenges
  • Delivering dedicated 1:1 assistance to students with SEMH needs
  • Eligibility to work in the UK or UK residency
  • Overseas criminal clearance or willingness to apply, if applicable
  • Child enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply
  • Previous experience working with children with special educational needs and disabilities.

We offer a two-day Team Teach Qualification to Candidates who are booked for Long -term work in our schools. This is free of charge * (conditions apply) and places are limited!!
