You will work closely with the class teacher to support a pupil's learning, engagement, and development in a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment. As a Learning Support, you will support teaching staff across a range of subjects, helping students stay focused and engaged in lessons. You may be required to provide classroom support, assist with behaviour management, deliver small group interventions or cover lessons in the absence of a teacher. Your sports background will be valuable in building rapport, maintaining structure and encouraging participation, but your main duties will be centred around learning support.
