Job Title: Cover Supervisor

Salary: £460 – £650 per week

About the Role:
As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising classes during teacher absence, ensuring students complete the work set and remain on task. You will play a key role in maintaining a positive learning environment and supporting smooth day-to-day school operations.
Responsibilities:

Supervise whole classes in the absence of the class teacher

Ensure students remain focused and complete set work

Manage behaviour in line with school policies

Provide clear instructions to support student understanding

Report any issues or concerns to relevant staff

Maintain a safe, structured and productive classroom environment
Requirements:

Experience working with children or young people is desirable

Strong communication and classroom management skills

Confident, calm and professional approach

Ability to adapt to different subjects and year groups

A genuine interest in supporting education and student progress
