Teacher of Physical Education
Location: Dover, Kent
Salary: £120 - £250 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: September 2026 (or sooner if available)
Contract: Full-time, Long-term
GSL Education Kent are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teacher of Physical Education to join a high-achieving and well-regarded girls’ secondary school in Dover. Key Responsibilities:
- Planning and delivering high-quality PE lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
- Promoting active participation and fostering a love of sport and physical activity
- Supporting and leading extracurricular sports clubs and competitive fixtures
- Monitoring and assessing student progress in line with curriculum expectations
- Upholding high standards of behaviour and contributing to the school’s positive ethos
- Encouraging confidence, teamwork, and resilience among students
The Ideal Candidate will have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or be an Early Career Teacher (ECT)
- Strong subject knowledge in Physical Education
- A passion for promoting girls’ participation and achievement in sport
- The ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities
- Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
- A proactive and committed approach to wider school life
