Job Title: Geography Teacher
Location: Worksop (S81)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract type -Day-to-day/ Long-term, Full-time/ Part-time

GSL Education are looking for an experienced Geography Teacher to join schools in Worksop (S81). The Geography Teacher will deliver structured and inspiring lessons that promote enquiry, map skills, and environmental awareness across key stages.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver geography lessons in line with the curriculum.
  • Support students in developing research, data interpretation, and fieldwork skills.
  • Encourage discussion on environmental and global topics.
  • Maintain a positive classroom environment and high standards of behaviour.
  • Assess student progress and provide clear, constructive feedback.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
  • Experience working as a Geography Teacher in a school setting
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive education.
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
