Location: Hull
Salary: £32,916 – £51,048 per annum
Contract: Full Time
Start Date: February 2026 or sooner
GSL Education are seeking a passionate Science Teacher for a secondary school in Hull.

The school promotes curiosity and enquiry based learning through a well resourced science department. Pupils are encouraged to develop scientific thinking through practical experiments, collaborative learning and structured teaching approaches that support strong GCSE outcomes.
Responsibilities

Teach Science across KS3 and KS4

Deliver engaging lessons covering Biology, Chemistry and Physics

Plan practical experiments and investigations

Track pupil progress and provide feedback

Support preparation for GCSE examinations
Requirements

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Experience teaching Science within a UK secondary school

Strong subject knowledge and classroom management skills

Ability to deliver engaging practical lessons

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply
