About the Role:
As a Science Teacher, you will play a key role in equipping students with the knowledge and skills needed to thrive in the modern world. You will work closely with a team of dedicated professionals to deliver engaging and effective lessons that inspire curiosity and a love for Science. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a significant impact in a supportive and progressive educational setting.
Responsibilities for a Teacher of Science:
- Deliver engaging and challenging lessons in Science to students at Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.
- Plan and prepare lessons in line with the national curriculum and school standards.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
- Support students in developing their scientific understanding and problem-solving skills.
- Collaborate with colleagues to create a positive learning environment.
Requirements of Science Teacher:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Prior experience in teaching Science or a related subject is essential.
- Excellent communication skills for effectively interacting with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Ability to establish and maintain strong, supportive relationships within the school community.
- Deep commitment to helping students succeed, demonstrating patience and empathy.
- Relevant qualifications or training in Science education (desirable but not essential).
