GSL Education Lincoln Branch are seeking energetic and committed Physical Education Teacher to work with active schools in Grantham. We are looking for qualified educators who can deliver engaging Physical Education lessons, encourage participation across different ability levels, and help students develop confidence, fitness, and a positive attitude towards healthy living.
The PE Teacher is going to deliver practical and theory-based learning across a range of sports and physical activities, supporting learners in developing technical skills, tactical awareness, teamwork, and physical wellbeing.
PE Teacher Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging PE lessons across relevant key stages
- Lead a varied programme of individual and team sports
- Demonstrate techniques and provide guidance to improve physical performance
- Adapt activities to accommodate different abilities and levels of confidence
- Promote teamwork, sportsmanship, resilience, and responsible participation
- Maintain appropriate health and safety standards during lessons and sporting activities
PE Teacher Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a recognised equivalent teaching qualification
- Strong understanding of the Physical Education curriculum
- Previous experience teaching PE within a school or similar setting
- Confidence delivering a range of sports and physical activities
- Strong communication, organisation, and behaviour management skills
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
