Salary: £93 – £110 per day (Depending on experience)

GSL Education Lincoln Branch are seeking enthusiastic and motivated Aspiring Teachers to work in welcoming and supportive schools in Scunthorpe. This is an excellent opportunity for graduates or individuals considering a career in teaching to gain hands-on experience, develop classroom skills, and make a positive impact on pupils' learning and development.

As an Aspiring Teacher, you will work closely with experienced teachers, support pupils across a range of subjects and year groups, and build the confidence and skills needed for a future teaching career.

Key Responsibilities of the Aspiring Teacher:

  • Support teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
  • Work with pupils on a one-to-one basis and in small groups to support learning.
  • Help create a positive, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment.
  • Assist with classroom management and encourage positive behaviour.
  • Support pupils with their academic, social, and emotional development.
  • Adapt to different classrooms and school environments as required.

Requirements for the Aspiring Teacher role:

  • A degree or a strong interest in pursuing a career in teaching.
  • Experience working with children or young people is desirable.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A positive, patient, and enthusiastic approach to supporting pupils.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a school team.
  • An enhanced DBS registered on the update service or willingness to apply through GSL Education.
