SEMH Teaching Assistant

GSL Education are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEMH Teaching Assistant to support students in schools across Lincoln. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.

The Role:

  • Provide 1:1 and small group support to students with SEMH needs
  • Assist in managing challenging behaviour using positive strategies
  • Support the delivery of tailored learning activities
  • Help create a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment
  • Work closely with teachers and other professionals

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Experience working with SEMH, SEND, or vulnerable young people
  • Calm, resilient, and able to build strong relationships
  • Strong communication and behaviour management skills
  • A genuine passion for supporting children’s wellbeing and development
