Salary: £460 – £600 per week

About the Role:
As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with class teachers and support staff to provide targeted assistance to students with additional learning needs. You will play a vital role in helping pupils access the curriculum, develop social skills, and build confidence in a supportive classroom environment.

Responsibilities:
• Provide one-to-one and small group support to students with Special Educational Needs, promoting engagement and understanding.
• Assist the class teacher in implementing personalised learning plans and targeted interventions.
• Support students’ emotional, social, and behavioural development within the classroom setting.
• Adapt learning resources and activities to meet individual needs and abilities.
• Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback to teachers and senior staff.
• Help maintain a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment at all times.

Qualifications:
• Previous experience working as a SEN Teaching Assistant or in a similar support role is desirable.
• Understanding of Special Educational Needs and inclusive support strategies.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
• A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach to supporting learners.
