Job Title: Geography Teacher
Location: Worksop (S81)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract type -Day-to-day/ Long-term, Full-time/ Part-time

GSL Education are looking for a Geography Teacher to join a school in Worksop (S81), delivering lessons that inspire curiosity, investigation, and an understanding of physical and human geography.

In this role, the Geography Teacher will plan and deliver lessons that encourage enquiry, analytical thinking, and a sense of global awareness, while fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Role Overview:

  • Plan and deliver well-structured Geography lessons in line with the curriculum
  • Encourage enquiry, research, and critical analysis of geographical topics
  • Support pupils in developing map, data, and presentation skills
  • Maintain positive behaviour and an engaging classroom environment
  • Assess pupil progress and provide constructive feedback as Geography Teacher

Candidate Profile:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification
  • Experience teaching Geography in a school setting
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting inclusive learning
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
