Pay rate: £460 - £600 per week (Depending on experience)

GSL Education are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join schools in Worksop, covering the S81 area. The Teaching Assistant (TA) will work closely with teachers to support learning, assist students with tasks, and help maintain a calm and focused classroom.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Support students with learning tasks individually or in small groups.
  • Assist the class teacher in preparing and adapting lesson materials.
  • Promote positive behaviour and social development.
  • Help students access the curriculum according to their individual needs.
  • Follow school policies and safeguarding procedures at all times.

Requirements of Teaching Assistant:

  • Experience working with children or young people in an educational setting.
  • Patient, supportive, and adaptable approach.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive education.
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
